Q: If I lose the strap or clip can I buy a new one?

A: Yes, we will soon have them available for purchase on our website. For now, please send us an email and let us know if you need the front or rear strap.

Q: How much do they cost?

A: $59.95 AUD per light

Q: Can I buy them in a store?

A: You can come along to the RMIT Activator, see the address down below in the footer or check out the “Contact Us” page and picked them up in person. However, within Australia shipping is free so why not just go with the easiest option and get them shipped to you!

Q: Can I buy them in bulk for my team or cycling club?

A: That sounds like a cool idea. How about you send us an email and we can chat? Check out the “Contact Us” page for our email address.

Q: Is there a return policy?

A: Yes. If you are not happy you can return your products within 60 days for a 110% refund of the product cost. Most shipping is free but unfortunately, we can not refund the cost of international shipping.

Q: How long does it take to charge?

A: Two hours.

Q: Do the front and rear lights have different straps?

A: Yes, the rear strap is angled so that the light sits parallel with the ground. Make sure it is not pointing down. See the instructions that came with your lights or go to this page and click on the PDF. the front strap is 

Q: How do I know it is fully charged?

A: If the red light under the power button has changed to solid, it is fully charged.

Q: My light has been charging for hours and the red light still has not changed to solid?

A: Sometimes the charging circuit bugs out. Simply unplug and re-plug the light back in to check if it is charged. Or try turn the light on and off a couple of times while it is unplugged.

Q: How long is the warranty period?

A: Two years from the purchase date.

Q: How far does the light project?

A: The light is visible from a distance over 1000m.

Q: Are they waterproof?

A: They are not completely waterproof to the point where you can submerge the lights in water (we’ve tried and they work but please do not do it). They have a waterproof rating of IPX6, meaning they can handle direct blasts from high-pressure jets. For a full breakdown of how IP ratings work see here.

Q: Are they USB rechargeable?

A: Yes. Micro-USB. A cable is included with each light however no wall socket is provided. You will have to charge from your computer or a wall socket that you already have.

Q: Will they fit aero handlebars and seat posts?

A: No. Unfortunately at this stage we have not designed a strap that works with aero handlebars or seat posts. It is definitely on our “To-Do” list!

Q: How long does it take for the Intelligent Sleep/Wake (automatic turn off) to work?

A: Once the light senses no movement for two minutes, the lights will turn off. When they detect movement they will turn back on.

Q: Can I turn off the Intelligent Sleep/Wake feature?

A: No. Unfortunately, at this stage the sleep/wake is automatically always on.

Q: My lights did not turn off automatically after no movement? I think the intelligent sleep/wake is not working?

A: Sometimes the system bugs out and either does not turn off or on. Turn the light back on and off a couple of times.

Q: How many different modes do they have?

A: The front lights have five modes. The rear lights have six modes.
